Pre-School
Next door to our school in the Activity Centre we have a pre-school setting running 5 days a week. This is open for children aged 2 - 4 years of age (see below for hours offered). We accept 20 hours childcare funding and the additional 10 hours education funding.
Our fantastic pre-school team is led by Miss Katie Emberton and assisted by Mrs Faye Cardwell, Mrs Lauren Windsor and Miss Faith Hughes.
Our pre-school was rated excellent and good by the Care Inspectorate Wales and Estyn in 2025. See full report below.
HOURS AND FEES:
We are aware of how difficult it can be to arrange childcare and nursery hours around busy parents and schedules, so with this in mind we offer parents/carers the opportunity to apply for / change sessions on a half termly basis.
2 YEAR OLDS

We also have access to the schools wrap around care for 3+ year olds this is charged separately. More information can be found on this here.

FUNDING
We accept both the 20 hours childcare funding and the 10 hours educational funding for children 3+. These can be applied, for the term after your child's third birthday.

If you are eligible for the full 20 childcare hours, these can be split over settings and do not all need to be used at our pre school setting.
